What Did My Hero Academia Fans Think of Chapter 430?
My Hero Academia achieved a rather satisfying conclusion in chapter 430 of its serialization. A large number of responses and reactions on various social media applications were positive. Although, there were a lot of gloomy memes showcasing how heartbroken manga fans were when it hit them that there isn’t gonna be a new chapter next week, or the week after that, or…yeah, you get my point!
LIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD! Many fans decided to focus on that one panel where the friendship between Bakugo and Deku was in full-on display, while others were thrilled that Deku walked into UA as a teacher in the last chapter of the manga. He will raise an amazing class of heroes, for sure, and who knows maybe Horikoshi-sensei will bless us with another manga showcasing it all.
Fans were also happy about the fact that while Deku was the greatest hero, Bakugo was the #1 Pro Hero, something that this sweet-yet-angry-pomeranian clearly wanted to be since the beginning. It’s the reason why he used to look at All Might with such deep adoration and respect. Some fans, however, were rather disappointed hearing that Deku lost his quirk amidst saving the world, and it’s because of this that he isn’t a Pro Hero.
While the disappointment is valid, it doesn’t change the fact that Deku put an end to the largest of threats by sacrificing his quirk. It proved that it’s not his quirk, it’s his innate kindness and, more importantly, selflessness that makes Deku the all-mightiest. He is, by all means, the greatest hero, even if he isn’t #1 Pro Hero!
