JJK 267 Leaks: Nobara Is Definitely Back

Nobara is back

Spoilers ahead, and massive ones at that. NOBARA IS BACK! What a time to be alive! The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is in its absolute climax, and it’s just what every fan imagined it to be. Continuing the amazing spree of chapters Gege Akutami has been delivering, JJK 267 proves that the creator has no plans of stopping the momentum.

JJK 266 continued with the classic Yuji vs. Sukuna, but it also topped off with touching dialogues and a glimpse of an important comeback. Surely JJK 267 can’t do better than that…right? Anyone?

Before diving into JJK 267, the previous chapter saw Yuji speaking to Megumi’s soul—discovering that Megumi just wanted to live a peaceful life with his sister and friends. However, after a little help from Yuji, he fights back and uses his technique to disrupt Sukuna’s actions in battle. Agitated, the King of Curses attempts to end the fight using his Domain Expansion…until he sees how many of Yuji’s fingers are missing.

High Stakes in JJK 267: The Battle Intensifies as Old Allies Return

The JJK trio is back

JJK 266 did not have a lot of action, so JJK 267 is here to pick up the slack. The chapter starts with body swap training between Gojo and Yuta, discussing what should be done with Sukuna’s final finger. Yuta asks for it so Rika could copy Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, but Gojo says it won’t be that useful to him since the finger doesn’t have a strong connection with Sukuna.

For Yuta’s technique to be effective, Rika must consume a body part of the technique’s owner! Not just any body part, a body part that has a deep personal connection to their technique. The stronger the connection, the more effectively Yuta can use their technique. If the owner of the technique replaces the said body part with RCT, the copy technique then stops working as well.

Continuing where 266 left off, Sukuna is confused to see that Yuji is missing two fingers. He only knows about the one he tore off to transfer himself inside Megumi’s body. The King of Curses quickly realizes that he fell for Yuta’s bluff. The finger that enabled Rika to learn Sukuna’s Domain was Yuji’s, not his own. According to Gojo’s Six Eyes, this is only possible because Sukuna’s CT has been imbued within Yuji throughout the time he was inside of him. Now, you might be asking yourself: So, where is Sukuna’s final finger?

The answer to that mystery is right here! The panel switches to Sukuna’s final finger dangling in the middle of a tower with Utahime and Gakuganji standing across it. Gakuganji asks if a special-grade cursed object like Sukuna’s finger can be affected by “that” technique. Utahime then replies that if a binding vow was made to focus solely on applying the technique’s effect to the object and not destroy it, “she” can do it. However, there is concern that “she” hasn’t even been awake for half an hour.

But like the boss she always was, Nobara Kugisaki comes barging back into the story (with a freaking eyepatch), screaming “Rejoice, boys!” Nobara survived the Shibuya Incident after tanking Mahito’s transfiguration to the left side of her head, and now she’s set to help finish the final battle. She stands across Sukuna’s final finger and uses her trademark Resonance, causing the King of Curses to convulse. Sukuna realizes that this is Nobara’s CT, and it’s prohibiting him from opening his domain.

Yuji realizes that this is Nobara’s CT too, and uses this opening to put up massive damage against Sukuna. How’s that for OPPAPPI, Yuji? But Sukuna stands up and claims that Yuji has surpassed his limits after observing that he wasn’t even using RCT to heal his wounds.

Yuji proves him wrong by throwing out a massive delayed punch, and that’s not even the cherry on top. Yuji exclaims that it’s time to end the cycle and then…gives Sukuna a gigantic Black Flash to the abdomen.

X/Twitter Reacts to JJK 267: Nobara Kugisaki’s Epic Return Sends Fans into Frenzy

After what just transpired in JJK 267, X (formerly Twitter) has gone crazy. Many believed that Nobara Kugisaki was gone for good, especially after seeing her in JJK 265 alongside Gojo, Nanami, Choso, and more during Yuji’s monologue. But here we are, basking in all of its glory, Nobara back from the depths of Gege Akutami’s brilliance. It’s safe to say that the believers cashed out, considering X is filled with fans who believed in her resurrection. Here are some of the more unforgettable ones!

Plenty has been said about Nobara, but it’s true. Who is making the grand entrance? A transfiguration to the head, survives, wakes up during a completely different war, stands up, and blasts a trademark move without rust? That’s peak Jujutsu Kaisen storytelling and that’s peak Nobara behavior! One user tweeted: “notice how the day is brighter, the birds are chirping, the grass is green, the sky is blue? THANK YOU SO MUCH KUGISAKI NOBARA

This is mostly thanks to Arata Nitta who treated Nobara during the Shibuya Incident arc, and thankfully he got his flowers on the platform. Remember when he said that the chance she survives isn’t 0%? It looks like he came through with his part of the promise, now it’s time for Yuji to take care of Sukuna. A Jujutsu Kaisen fan tweeted this about Arata: “Arata Nitta might just have given JJK universe the biggest gift lmao

Fans are happy about Nobara’s comeback. After years of waiting, Gege Akutami finally brought out one of Yuji’s best friends—a chapter after Megumi fights back. Badass characters are badass for a reason, and Nobara proved why she’s cut from a different cloth. A fan tweeted out: “kugisaki nobara is the proof that you can never kill a bitch a bad b*tch” Hard not to believe this now. Nobara is bad-b*tch-approved.
