JJK 260 Leaks: Is Satoru Gojo Really Back?

Gojo is back in chapter 260

In the famous words of Eminem: Guess who’s back? Or is he? Jujustu Kaisen Chapter 260 is a rollercoaster with what seems like an endless fight between Sukuna and the valiant sorcerers of Jujutsu. However, many surprises await fans in the latest chapter—especially one that might make Gojo lovers jump out of their seats for joy.

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the biggest anime and manga series regardless of genre. Gege Akutami has created a complex world of different powers, eccentric characters, and eye-widening fight scenes. While the manga boasts a colorful cast, one character reigns supreme. Satoru Gojo, the “Strongest Sorcerer of Today,” stands out with his undeniable charm, unshakeable but rightful arrogance, and an arsenal of overpowered techniques. After the fight between him and Sukuna, the King of Curses, during the “Shinjuku Showdown Arc,” the battle of the strongest ends with Sukuna with his hand held high.

After months of fans going back and forth regarding Gojo’s true dead-or-alive status, Chapter 260 has already given fans backing the “alive” side with a panel they will never forget. And though nothing is set in stone, here’s how X/Twitter and the rest of social media reacted to Satoru Gojo’s potential comeback!

How Did Twitter React to Jujustu Kaisen Chapter 260 Leaks?

Bonkers, that’s all there is to say. Nothing in Jujutsu Kaisen has divided fans more than Satoru Gojo’s death in Chapter 236 of the manga. The wielder of the Six Eyes’ potential comeback will make the world explode—and it’s already started on Twitter.

Gojo fans are in full force with one of their representatives tweeting out: “GOJO STANS THEY CALLED US DELUSIONAL, SAID HE WOULD NEVER COME BACK, CALLED HIM A FRAUD…BUT WE STAYED STRONG THROUGH IT ALL AND NOW HE’S F*CKING BACK” Aside from the unending war between sorcerers and the King of Curses, fans of Satoru Gojo have already claimed their victory against those who wish the sorcerer to rest in everlasting peace.

According to Chapter 260, after Yuji throws another powerful Black Flash into Sukuna’s body, the latter tries to expand his domain once again, but to no avail. Then, he saw a bizarre figure—a silhouette of the strongest ghost that Sukuna had already extinguished himself. One Twitter user said, “YALL ARENT GETTING IT GHOST IS LIKE A METAPHOR BECAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE YOUVE SEEN A GHOST WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE YOU ARENT EXPECTING TO SEE ITS ACTUALLY HIM HES BACK GOJO I NEVER DOUBTED YOU.”

The chapter then ends with a final sentence that is sure to bring shivers down any Jujutsu Kaisen fan: “Those eyes are unmistakable.” There could only be one iconic character that bears those eyes, and his potential return will bring a new set of exciting storylines and even fiercer battles to end what has been an epic plot. However, since nothing is official just yet, theories about Gojo’s resurrection are already circulating on social media—so let’s take a deep dive into that, too!

Theories About Gojo’s Return in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 260

Gojo and Kenjaku 260 leaks

Of course, what’s a teaser without fans theorizing about what it could be? With a character of Satoru Gojo’s caliber alongside his overall impact and influence on the series, fans were quick to make theories about what he potentially did to come back—or if it really is him.

A fan on Reddit said, “In case it really is gojo in the last panel, is it a dramatic shot or is it hiding the other eye on purpose to hint he gave up the six eyes (with a visual representation of missing an eye – > 3 eyes left?)” This isn’t the first time the theory is on the table. Gege Akutami has illustrated Gojo covering his eye (without the eyemask) multiple times! But if it was indeed needed for him to come back alive, then sacrificing Six Eyes and making the ultimate Binding Vow might be the only ace up his sleeve.

Another theory explores the possibility of it being Kenjaku, with one Reddit user saying: “Imagine if Sukuna thinks it’s a hallucination only for the dust to clear and it’s Gojo with stitches on his head.” One Redditor affirmed this, saying: “Damn. It’s Kenjaku. It’s definitely Kenjaku. Why was the hair down over the forehead?” Although this has some potential, many fans believe that Kenjaku was already decapitated by Yuta in Chapter 243.

No matter the case, fans will find out just who or what this mysterious silhouette is in the next chapter considering the manga won’t be taking a break next week. Will it be the anticipated return of Satoru Gojo or will it be Gege Akutami breaking hearts yet again? I’m definitely rooting for the former possibility. It would be too cruel for this to be another one of Akutami’s teases, don’t you think?
