Gege Akutami Shares Special Note
It’s not just other mangaka who shared their thoughts about Jujutsu Kaisen ending. Gege also shared a heartfelt message to fans. In a special note, he asked fans for their continued support as he moves forward with future projects. His note read: “This is the final chapter!! Thank you very much for your support!! I’ll do my best next time too!!”
Along with this message, Gege also shared a new illustration of our favorite protagonist Yuji Itadori. We can see him smiling despite all the scars from his grueling journey. In the illustration, he also took a moment to celebrate Jujutsu Kaisen’s incredible milestone—100 million copies in circulation. The series began serialization in 2018, and in just six years, it has managed to hit this unbelievable milestone. This achievement cements the manga as one of the highest-selling series of all time and it places Gege Akutami as one of the modern legends!
